Robert is a Tax Principal based in Deloitte’s Seattle, Washington office, and has more than seventeen years of experience in multistate taxation. In his current role, Robert heads the firm’s West Region, leads Gross Receipts Tax Suite and serves and the Washington State Jurisdictional Technical Lead. Robert’s technical experience focuses on sales and use tax, gross receipt taxes, including Business & Occupation Tax. Robert’s background ranges from sales and use tax reverse audits, nexus and taxability studies, as well as controversy consulting including audit defense and tax appeals at the state and local levels.
